Two centuries of progress with more to go

As part of a class discussion concerning inequality between women and men today, we were to answer whether or not we felt that there was any and if it could be changed or if it was a natural part of society. Read my thoughts on the topic.

Twitter Updates for 2008-04-05

  • @_Ug_ – Were you thinking of writing your blog as if it was your dog or cat observing your silly human actions? Could be fun. :-) #
  • @Bwitchedpage – Absolutely it’s ok for an adult to have a MySpace page. I recommend it to clients with kids. You might not enjoy it tho. #
  • @Bwitchedpage – I have a cousin who has been on MySpace as her kids grew up. It’s a neat online record of life. Lots of "Luv yous" too. #
  • @Bwitchedpage – Much better to be open and communicate than to be out of the loop and find out what your kids are up to from 3rd parties. #
  • @Bwitchedpage – Just make it fun. Plus it keeps you younger mentally and more "hip" than those parents who don’t. :-) #
  • Parents (or soon to be) of tweens/teens, I highly recommend watching this PBS report: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/kidsonline/ #
  • @briansolis – Twitter itself has been the best source of interesting topics and conversations in a long time. Otherwise, the blogosphere. #
  • @jkusters Good luck on remembering that. Sometimes just moving to a different location for a while then returning clears the brain cells. #
  • Signing off until probably sometime this evening. Ciao for now! #

Twitter Updates for 2008-04-04

  • It’s been a long time since I took a general education college course. I’d forgotten how much "busy work" the homework is. Blech. #
  • On top of that, the course is "Contemporary Women’s Health", and I’m a guy. Talk about not being very relevant to my life! #
  • This is the final course I need to pass in order to graduate. That makes it pretty relevant, I guess. :-) #
  • @strawpoll 2 Finding Nemo is technically far superior in animation, the story is excellent, and it is just plain fun to watch! #
  • @RyanNRP – Welcome to Twitter. :-) How is work these days? #
  • Good morning Twittermates! #
  • @hotdogsladies I awoke dreaming about Twitter this morning. #
  • Anyone else having trouble with Pidgin 2.4.1 constantly disconnecting from MSN and Jabber networks? I am. Grr. #
  • @plaidteam So, I joined the team, I changed my avatar. What else are we supposed to do? How does this ColorWars thing work? #
  • @mathewi – Hi. Do you still have a a Toluu invitation code available? #
  • @Bwitchedpage I hope your honey in Mississippi is okay. Such nasty weather. #
  • @wilw Do you prefer the green or black figs? I prefer the taste of the black mission figs, but they burn my mouth a bit. #

Twitter Updates for 2008-04-03

  • Weather predicted showers. Instead it’s 72, sunny, blue skies. I’m not complaining! :-) #
  • @audaciousgloop: Don’t most things work until you need them most? Or until the day after the warranty expires? #
