Microsoft: The Good, The Bad, and The Funny

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Interning at Microsoft for Dummies

Doesn’t that just make you want to dive in and sell your soul to the “Evil Empire” by working there. As an intern of course. My favorite is Step 4. That should have been the end of the video as they all drive away. Hehe.

I think that Cinda mentioned she actually interned at Microsoft in Redmond. Care to comment and share some insights?

Microsoft iPod

Oh! It’s so true, and so funny, and so very sad all at the same time. The funniest thing of all is that I originally saw this at a Microsoft partner event during an intermission.

Business Travel Stops Here

Microsoft’s marketing arm has always had strange ways of advertising things. Here is another example. Besides the obvious surprise ending, I thought it was funny how the guy scopes the woman walking by, and then in the elevator everyone is acting like there’s a funny smell or something. Hmmm.

Microsoft IE7:Everyday tasks made easier

I’m guessing this is an ad from the UK. Kinda cute. Kinda dorky. I’d like a newspaper like that though.

Origami: The future?

What’s smaller than a laptop but more functional than a PDA? If you believe the hype, it’s the new Microsoft Project Origami. I’m still not sure if it’s software that runs on a new breed of hardware (most likely) or actually hardware that MS plans to market. Time to learn more.

Note: The video is kind of long (4:06) and plodding, but if you’re a geek like me, you’ll watch it all the way through. If not, feel free to skip the the next, much more exciting video.

Evangelion – Microsoft

I think that this is a Japanese (I don’t speak or read Japanese, so I could be wrong) music video that starts out much like a typical Windows 98 demo, but to better music. Then things start to go wrong… and funny. Mmm. Pie!

And now, onto some of the best videos featured in this blog…
